Axel himself doesn't have his own companion, but sometimes he wishes for the company of another dog. This is how he discovered his tier 5 magic ability

TIER 5 ABILITY:  Can make an illusion of turning other dogs into a more axehandle-hound shape

In this picture he has turned Hazel and Dawn's dog companions to look more like himself. When Hazel saw what happened to their companion, they froze in shock. Dawn on the other hand is too tired to notice and only questionably looks at Priti, wondering what changed. And the slightly-changed dog companions didn't even notice and are just enjoying the company of a new friend
