A single, plaintive note echoes around one of the last true forests on Lingua...
Pastorale started life as an egg, like all Paralogos, but the magic that manifested him placed him deep within one of the last wild places. While he was surrounded by natural plants, lifeforms that are conducive towards Paralogos magic, he couldn't help but feel lonely.
He began to sing to himself to keep himself company, attempting to weave meaning into his life and to imitate all the sounds he heard around him.
Initially his body imitated a dark-wooded tree, but it seems as though the influence changed before he achieved his adult form...
