Blazing Star
Aster couldn't hear, couldn't see, couldn't think. His sunny yellow hide darkened as grief clouded his mind. Enormous wings sprouted from his back, flames licking and hot. His form grew to nearly thrice his original height, his rage threatening to consume all in his path. The Sun had transformed into a Red Giant.

My last-minute submission to the April monthly prompt was imagining Aster's Wicked AU form. I think after experiencing a traumatic event, such as losing his adopted sister, Aster would turn into a red giant, just as the Sun will someday...
